Clinical Psychologist

Zenat is fully registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board under the ‘Clinical Psychologist’ scope of practice. She is also a member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists and the New Zealand Psychological Society (NZPS).

Zenat offers specialised assessment and treatment for individuals across age groups, including adults, adolescents and children aged 7-12. Her approach draws on a range of evidence-based psychological interventions, which are informed by Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Brief Dynamic Therapy, and Mentalization Therapy modalities.

Zenat has gained professional experience across clinical, correctional, youth forensic, and neurodevelopmental fields. Her background includes roles within various settings, including a tertiary hospital, correctional facilities, youth forensic contexts, and at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand. She specialises in psychological assessment, including clinical, diagnostic, educational, emotional, and neurodevelopmental evaluations. She renders psychological assessment and intervention for both individuals and groups.
