Dianne Taylor, Bachelor of Social Work
Graduated as a Social Worker in 2014, spent nearly 5 years in Christchurch working at Burwood Hospital as a locum Social Worker across all wards. Also did a 3-month contract working with the Muslim population after the mosque shootings.
Moved to Whitianga in late 2019, became an ambulance officer for something to do - something I still do a bit of. Started ACC work after I had been here a year or so. I am the Social Worker for the local Cancer Support Trust and do some private social work supervision.
Previous work history - banking/finance, adult education tutor, veterinary nurse, mental health support worker.
I'm fit and active and prioritise my wellbeing with exercise and personal hobbies. Enjoy painting, gardening, fishing - when I can get a chance to go out in the boat with my husband. My husband and I live here, we have two adult sons in Christchurch. We have a couple of cats, we love travel.
