Casey Williams, MA (Psychology), PGDip in Addiction Studies, PGDip in Psychological Practice
Psychologist
I was born and raised in Whanganui. I moved to Wellington to study psychology, and have remained since. My thesis research explored why young people (living in New Zealand) engage in suicidal behaviour.
I am a registered psychologist (general). I have experience working with children/young people and adults to address difficulties with mood (and affect regulation), self-harm and suicidal behaviour, substance use, harmful sexual behaviour, and sexual assaults. I work within the community and both Arohata and Rimutaka Prisons.
