Anna graduated as a clinical psychologist from the University of Auckland with a PhD in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology. She has been in private practice since 2009. Anna has a particular interest in the psychological treatment of trauma and dissociative disorders. She also specializes in the treatment of insomnia, and has previously worked with the New Zealand Respiratory and Sleep Institute. Within her clinical practice, Anna draws on a wide range of therapy modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Analytic Therapy. Anna is here to gently meet you where you are at and together create transformation. Anna is an experienced and accredited EMDR practitioner, integrating ego state work into her approach and tailoring interventions to accommodate the impact of early trauma.  Anna is also an EMDR Case Consultant and teaches on the University of Otago Post Graduate EMDR programme.
