Psychologist

Amber is a Clinical Psychologist with Master’s degrees in psychology and experience working with young and older adults.

Amber’s approach is warm, collaborative and solution-focussed.

Amber is experienced in working with neuro-diversity, gender &sexual identity (LGBTQIA+). She also has a special interest in the overlap of physical and mental health issues and has conducted and published research in this field. Most recently she has been working with individuals and families of those on their cancer journey.

Depending on the client and their presentation she utilises a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Compassion-focussed Therapy (CFT). Amber is also trained and experienced in using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) and can support clients requiring this specialised and effective treatment.

She is currently working predominantly via tele-health/online but can offer some in person sessions.
