Kate Harris, Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PgDipClinPsyc) / MSc (Distinction) / BA (First Class Hons) / BCom
I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board. I primarily draw upon evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). My goal is to provide supportive, effective therapy tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
I have experience conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and delivering therapy in both individual and group settings. My background spans across private practice, public healthcare, and the criminal justice system. I provide assessment and therapeutic support for adults facing a range of challenges, including low mood, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related difficulties. I also work with individuals navigating general life stressors and relationship issues. I have a special interest in the assessment of adult ADHD and autism and enjoy working with neurodiverse individuals. I also have experience providing supervision to other psychologists.
